Overdraft Transfer

An overdraft charge or returned check happens to almost everyone at least once.  When you do not have enough money in your checking account, Union’s Overdraft Account Transfer allows you to pick a backup account to prevent returned checks.
How it works:
When needed, Union will automatically cover your overdraft with a transfer from another account:
You designate the account to cover overdrafts. The transfer will be in the exact amount of the item(s) overdrawing your account, plus a $10 fee. The Overdraft Account Transfer can save you money since the $10 transfer fee is charged once a day, not for each item(s) that resulted in an overdraft.
The amount of an Overdraft Transfer is limited by the available balance in the designated account. The number of transfers is limited to six per month for savings or money market accounts, but unlimited from another checking account.
Account Transfers:
This overdraft protection works great if you have secondary accounts with us. Union recommends safeguarding your checking or money market account from mistakes with an Overdraft Service.
