Responsible home owners make a tremendous impact on the quality of life in our communities, and we want to help more people realize their dreams of a better life. Our two grants are designed for qualified borrowers who need extra assistance when buying a home.

For People Serving the Community

  • Provides $4 for each $1 you contribute, up to $7,500 maximum per household
  • Can be a first-time or non-first-time home buyer
  • Contribute at least $1,000 toward the home purchase
  • Access matching funds for a down payment, closing costs or renovation costs
  • Complete FHLBank Atlanta's prescribed homebuyer education and financial literacy course
  • Buyers must earn 80% or less of the area medium income (adjusted for family size)

For Qualified First-Time Home Buyers

  • Provides $4 for each $1 you contribute, up to $5,000 maximum per household
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Contribute at least $1,000 toward the home purchase
  • Complete FHLBank Atlanta's prescribed home buyer education and financial literacy course
  • Buyers must earn 80% or less of the area medium income (adjusted for family size)

Community Partnership Program (CPP) is a product of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta; Union Mortgage Group is a member of FHLBank Atlanta. Eligible home buyers include enforcement officers, educators, health care workers, and firefighters; first-time home buyers and non-first-time home buyers are eligible. Funds are disbursed on a first-come, first serve, home buyer-by-home buyer basis. Maximum CPP awarded per household is $7,500. Maximum income at or below 80% of HUD Median Income adjusted for family size. Other restrictions may apply.
