Ellen cares about her community. For over 30 years she has been assisting nonprofit organizations with their financial needs and goals. She has supported philanthropic efforts through the development of sound fiduciary policies and the management of investment assets.
Ellen is passionate about philanthropy and has served on many nonprofit boards and industry associations. She is past president of both the Virginia Gift Planning Council and the Richmond Estate Planning Council. She has also chaired the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Foundation Charitable Advisors board.
Ellen holds a bachelor’s degree in government and foreign affairs from the University of Virginia, is a member of the LEAD Virginia class of 2013 and has a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) designation.
