Q: Who can use Make-It-Mine?
A: Any Union First Market Bank Customer who currently has an active debit card can customize their Union First Market Bank card.  Those currently without a debit card must first open and receive a standard card before proceeding with the Make-It-Mine customization.

Q: Are there any other restrictions around which cards can use Make-It-Mine?
A: Currently, your debit card number must start with 443547 or 439879 in order to utilize Make-It-Mine. If your card does not start with either of these numbers and you would like to use Make-It-Mine contact your nearest branch and they will assist you.

Q: How often can I change my card design?
A: Union First Market Bank allows customers to change their card once every six months.

Q: Can debit cards be customized without affecting other debit cards drawing from the same checking account?
A: Yes, because debit cards have individual numbers, customers can customize one card without affecting other cards on the same checking account.  Please Note: The new customized debit card will have a new expiration date.  Therefore, once the new debit card is received and activated, your existing card on the account will close.  You will need to update merchants who may be making automatic charges (ex. Memberships, Subscriptions, etc.) to your card with your new card information once you have activated your card. 

Q: Will my existing card work until my new customized card arrives?
A: Yes! Your existing card will continue to work until your new card is recieved and activated.

Q: How much does Make-It-Mine cost?
A: Make-It-Mine costs $5 per debit card.

Q: Do I have to change my PIN number for my new card?
A: No. Your PIN number will remain the same as before.

Q: How is my customized card approved?
A: Every image submitted is reviewed to ensure compliance with Union's Image Guidelines.  You will receive an approval e-mail within two business days and the new card will be ordered immediately.  The new customized card will be delivered in 10-14 business days.

Q: What images are not acceptable?
A: See the Image Guidelines for Union's photo submission rules.  If an image is rejected, you will be notified by e-mail within two businesss days.  You may submit a new image anytime following your rejection notification. 

Q: How can I ensure my card will look its best?
A: Choose a clear, sharply-focused image, preferably taken at a high resolution: 300 dot-per-inch (DPI) or greater.  You can also use photo-editing software to enhance your photo prior to uploading it. 

Q: What size and format does my digital photo need to be?
A: Picture files can be in JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG, GIF, Bitmap (.bmp), or TIFF formats.  The minimum file size should be at least 50KB in size and at least 840 X 840 pixels.  You cannot upload an image that is less than 840 pixels along its smallest side.  The maximum file size cannot exceed 10 megabytes (MB).

Q: While customizing my card can I edit my photo?
A: Yes.  the photo box allows you to rotate, crop, etc.

Q: Can I change the photo if I'm not happy with the preview?
A: Yes! You have the opportunity to edit the photo again or choose a different photo at any time before ordering.

Q: What if I get an error message after submitting a customized card?
A: If you reveive an error message after the customized card process is complete, please close the browser, and try again.  If the problem persists, contact the customer service center


Q: I recently changed my address, can I order a customized card?
A: You must wait 90 days before you can customize a card if you have recently changed your address. 

Q: Can I customize my business account card(s) or credit card(s)?
A: No, unfortunately those cards cannot be customized at this time.


Q: What happens if my customized card expires?
A: Upon expiration of your card, a new card will be sent with the same image as your most recent card.


Q: How will I receive my personalized card?
A: Your card will be mailed to you via the US Postal Sevice.


Q: What if my card is lost or stolen?
A: If your card is lost or stolen, please contact us immediately to replace your card.  Your newly issued card will have the same image as your previous card.
