Overdraft Protection

UBT has three types of overdraft protection available to customers depending on their account combinations. Overdraft protection provides customers with:

• Peace of mind knowing that their checks will be covered
• The ability to save money by avoiding merchant charges
• Easy access to additional credit

Check Safekeeping

Union Bank & Trust keeps your actual checks on hand for a limited time and images them. Should you need copies of your checks, you may request up to four imaged copies per statement cycle at no cost.

Easy Image Checks

Easy Image is today's state-of-the-art way to present checks to our customers. Our check imaging system provides easier to read, higher quality laser printed statements and organized laser images of your checks. Read more about Easy Image Checks.

Combined Statements

UBT will combine your checking, savings, and certificate of deposit account statements saving space and organizing all your financial information into one document.

Auto-Transfers

Union Bank & Trust can enable customer to set up automatic transfers between accounts on either a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis. Auto-Transfers are a great way to get into the habit of saving.

Night Depository

Individuals and businesses occasionally need the ability to make deposits in a secure manner after banking hours. UBT has additional options for processing and pick up of after hour deposits.

Travelers Cheques

Need an alternative to carrying cash, Union Bank & Trust's travelers checks are issued by American Express and are great for vacation travel.

Cashier's Checks, Money Orders, & Certified Checks

These types of checks and orders are readily accepted and converted to cash, and are often used by people without access to a standard checking account.

Notary Services

A notary acts as an official, unbiased witness to the identity and signature of the person who comes before the notary for a specific purpose. The person may be taking an oath, giving oral or written testimony, or signing or acknowledging his or her signature on a legal document. In each case, the notary attests that certain formalities have been observed.

Savings Bonds

UBT can facilitate a sale for either Series EE or I (within limits prescribed by Federal Reserve) Union Bank & Trust orders the bonds which are a secure savings product that pay interest based on current market rates for up to 30 years. Electronic EE Savings Bonds are sold at face value. Paper EE Savings Bonds are sold at 1/2 face value.
