• $2,500 minimum to open
• Checks available at no charge 

Union has competitive rates and tiers.

But minimum fees and restrictions:

• $10 monthly fee if balance drops below $2,500
• Transfers from a Money Market account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, computer, or telephone transfer are limited to six per statement cycle.  The six transfers may now include checks, debit card, or similar order to third parties.
